The American Guild of Organists exists for the purposes of advancing the cause of organ and choral music, improving the proficiency of organists and conductors, and providing members with opportunities to meet for discussion of common interests.

The Tampa Chapter welcomes members from the greater Tampa area, including Sun City, Brandon, Plant City, Riverview, and Valrico.
